Korg has recently presented the iElectribe – an iPad app, produced to duplicate the functionality of the original Electribes (EMX-1 or ESX-1)
The thing is, EMX-1 and ESX-1 are so cool for that “VALVE FORCE” lamp scheme, which is meant to “saturate” the sound, and the iElectribe, obviously, doesn’t have that scheme. What’s more, I’m pretty sure the screen of the iPad doesn’t provide as much response as those buttons of the original sampler do. On the contrary, the iPad provides the mobility than not so many synthesizers today are able to.
So what would you choose?
